Valentine's Giveaway | A Collaboration with Drew Melton

This week we had the fun of having an Instagram giveaway with this piece we collaborated with Drew Melton on! The limited edition Valentine's art print, designed by Drew and printed by us, was made to be sold at Apolis. All but one were sold, and the last remaining print is now going to our winner, Sean O'Connor! Congratulations - we hope someone you love enjoys it!

In the Studio | This Week's Projects

Our press has seen a lot of action this last week! We've been working on a variety of projects, all that we are so excited to see materialize. Here's a look!

Above are a limited edition Valentine's print made for Apolis, designed by Drew Melton, and wedding invitations for Darcy and Ryan! This suite has been such a uniquely fun design to work on and see come to life! Below are business cards for our friends at RVCC, and a bridal shower invitation for Alissa's friend Carol. We especially loved printing in this soft, succulent green color.

Happy Valentine's Day Weekend!

2016 has been off to a busy start in the studio! We've been working on a range of projects in our first few weeks back, from coffee bags to business cards, and are especially excited about stationery we've been printing from our Ready to Order Collection. Below are some of our favorites so far:

From the Desk of in Copper

                                          The Talley in Blind

Another exciting start to 2016 was Audra getting engaged!! Her fiancee, Kaelen, proposed in Glacier National Park, Montana over Christmas. She says, "I am dead". So are we.

Have a great weekend!

Studio Snapshots | Patrick Phegley

Recently we had the joy of working with Patrick Phegley to create hang tags for his new clothing line, and they're about as sleek as it gets! It's always so exciting to watch a company's branding come together in the studio - from the press to final cuts. But nothing compares to how amazing it is to see them come to life out in the world! Take a look:

Patrick chose to use 680g/m² Sirio Ultra Black paper with white foil printing. This paper is quite wonderfully thick as is, but to further elevate the tags, he decided to triple-ply them for a final weight of 2,040g/m².

This snazzy device is the tool Patrick uses to ply the layers of paper together and simultaneously insert the string.

We particularly love the colors used in his collection!

All of the care put into these tags made for such a gorgeous result. We hope you enjoyed a look at this project and are having a wonderful week!
