Looking for some rainy day inspiration? Hop on over to Speakeasy Illustrations for a Q & A with Alissa!

Rachel Frankel is the curator of this blog and she is an up and coming illustrator based out of Oakland.

We love how she described our work as "refined, sweet, and free flowing," as we definitely are attempting to create the finest quality paper goods while remaining genuine and true to our hearts.

She also brought back some beautiful images from last year: a beautifully styled rehearsal dinner party, also featured on Style Me Pretty Living. Click here to view the full gallery.

Refinery 29 Feature

We love Refinery 29 for its sometimes silly, sometimes serious, but always stylish posts. So, to say that we were excited to be featured on their site for the first time is an understatement. This shoot was recently featured on 100LayerCake and we've blogged about it on here, but we're not at all disappointed that this stunning shoot is getting another chance to shine.

Finding your Entrepreneurial Voice

Alissa recently had the pleasure of being featured on a podcast called The Life of An Entrepreneur produced by Jan McCarthy.

Jan is the founder of Entrepreneurial Voice,  Market Director and Owner of Ladies Who Launch (Los Angeles and Orange Counties), and a CRAVE Los Angeles partner. She is committed to advising entrepreneurs at all stages of development. Her passion is to empower entrepreneurs by providing resources, community and inspiration. Needless to say this spoke directly to Alissa, as the found of this here letterpress business. The podcast is centered around tips and tricks of entrepreneurial life and Alissa got to share how she came to start her letterpress business and lesson she learned along the way.

A little synopsis:

Inspired by her father who is an entrepreneur, Alissa always knew she loved to work for herself someday. After graduating from UCLA, she worked for Deloitte for four years. It was an awesome experience, but eventually she knew she didn't want to do it for the rest of her life. She made the decision to quit her job and move home to figure out what she wanted to do. This sort of well-thought-out, intentional decision making marked her journey to building her letterpress company.

Listen to the podcast to hear the rest of the story. You're sure to be inspired!
