Nude. The color of storytelling. The color of vulnerability, honesty, and intimacy.
Last year I went through a lot of changes... I restructured my business, got pregnant, and decided to finally create a collection. I processed a lot and learned to check in with myself regularly through journaling. In my 20s, journaling was a practice rarely visited. Only to memorialize a particularly momentous occasion or feeling. But when I started an almost daily practice of transferring my thoughts to paper - I found growth. I traced connections in the mundane and random wanderings of my mind that started to create a path to what I wanted to do. This daily intimacy with myself can be sometimes boring, often scary, and always difficult to face the inner truths of where I am at in that moment. In this collection I wanted to include a color for those vulnerable ideas. To pick up my notebook and feel safety in knowing the pressure is low, honesty is welcome and honored. To know that ideas don't always have to be bold or spicy - they can just be. Nude is the color to honor where you are at. Nothing needed beyond it.
